CONTRACT OVERVIEW: Installation of bird spikes
SCOPE OF WORKS:
- Installed a mobile cherry picker at the front entrance of the museum
- Cleaned the surface of the cills and pipework to remove surface guano and contaminants by wire brushing.
- Applied 10mm beads of waterproof silicone adhesive onto the surfaces and firmly pressed the needle strips into the adhesive ensuring full contact is achieved.
- Installed bird spikes to rain water goods.
- Using Neokleen Hot Box High Pressure Water Cleaning system, cleaned the external fabric to remove surface laitance/dirt deposits.
- Removed all debris to appropriately marked location ensuring compliance with ‘Duty of Care’ regulations.
