CONTRACT OVERVIEW: Stone and masonry restoration, cleaning and re-pointing

SCOPE OF WORKS:

• Removed all defective cast iron down pipe and repaired ornate hoppers.
• Cleaned stonework to remove algae growth.
• Replaced over 250 stone balusters.
• Replaced coping cramps in stainless steel.
• Repaired other items of stonework such as coping stones and parapet stonework.
• Re-pointed stonework and brickwork generally using hydraulic lime mortar.
• Carried out repairs to lead flashings.
