CONTRACT OVERVIEW: Concrete repairs to brick arches and installation of ties into concrete vaults – Helifix installation.

SCOPE OF WORKS:

• The arches inside the building needed repairing so slots were chased into the brickwork using angle grinders.
• These slots were then vacuumed out and Helifix reinforcement bars grouted into the slots to reinforce the arches.
• Repair work to secure the coping stones on the external parts of the church was carried out.
• The loose coping stones were secured into the brickwork using long dowels which were fixed in place with epoxy resin.
• The stabilisation of the front elevation using Helifix Cemties was carried out.
