CONTRACT OVERVIEW: Helifix installallation

SCOPE OF WORKS:

  • Gain access to area of work via scaffold.
  • Relevant COSHH assessments to be consulted before any repair products are used.
  • Grind out or drill slots as appropriate to accommodate Helifix reinforcements.
  • Vacuum out drill holes to remove any dust traces.
  • Grout in reinforcement leaving neat joint.
  • Install 55 x Helifix Cem Ties to the identified areas at approximately 1LM lengths as per manufacturers recommendations (Helifix PW02).
  • Fill gaps using epoxy mortar, this will re-secure the area.
  • For the internal crack stitching and repairing, rake out the mortar joints, flush out and well wet joints to introduce 6 x Helifix Cem Ties as per manufacturers recommendations (Helifix RF08).
  • Upon completion, re-point gable in a mortar mix to match existing as close as possible.
  • Carry out resin injection using a thixotropic epoxy resin to the vertical crack to existing internal random stonework - up to 1LM.
  • Remove all debris into appropriately marked location to ensure compliance with ‘Duty of Care’ regulations leaving working area in safe condition.
