CONTRACT OVERVIEW: Timber repair and consolidation

SCOPE OF WORKS:

  • South Gable Elevation of the above establishment
  • Drill 8mm diameter holes at 100-120mm centres along the grain.
  • For timbers wider than 100mm across the accessible face, additional holes will be drilled at 50mm from the centre row, at staggered 120mm centres.
  • Inject Boron Ultra 78 Paste in pre-drilled holes.
  • For timbers prone to re-wetting or in continuous damp, Boron Ultra Rods will be inserted in each hole to provide a long term reservoir.
  • Remove all debris into appropriately marked locations ensuring compliance with ‘Duty of Care’ regulations.
