CONTRACT OVERVIEW: Damp and waterproofing treatment
SCOPE OF WORKS:
- Existing York stone flags were removed using hand tools or mechanical plant where required and placed to one side using safe manual handling techniques. Quadriga lifted approximately 48m2 stone flags.
- Defective concrete blinding and Procor 20 liquid-applied to the membrane to be removed using mechanical plant if necessary and placed into skip.
- Dust emissions were controlled by damping down where necessary.
- Procor 20 was laid to all exposed areas in strict accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. Operatives ensured appropriate PPE was worn throughout application.
- Servipak protection boards were applied to newly applied Procor 20.
- Weak concrete blinding was laid on the top.
- Re set the flags into sand / cement bore and then finally set the flags in a suitable sand / cement mix.
