CONTRACT OVERVIEW: Waterproof tanking to basement

SCOPE OF WORKS:

  • Mechanical preparation of basement walls via bush-hammering.
  • DPC fluid injected along tops of all external walls & into wall corners to protect timber wall plates.
  • Installation of brick ties to stabilise brickwork.
  • Installation of Sikadur Combiflex strip at wall/floor junctions to protect against cracking of render induced by differential thermal movement.
  • Application of Sika 1 pre-batched tanking system to full height on walls.
  • Application of Sika waterproof screed to basement floor.
  • All timber window frames and service pipe details sealed with Sika Pro 2HP waterproof mastic.
