Scope of works: 

• Following a request from the centre management we installed an artificial grass surface directly onto the asphalt deck surface of the Management Suite's balcony prior to a VIP visit.

• The grass was adhered to the asphalt using suitable adhesive at 1m centres on a spotting pattern.

• Cutting in took place around the 2no drainage outlets.

• Due to the drainage holes within the grass backing material, water drains straight through onto the asphalt membrane, and drains freely into the outlets.

• The installation of the artificial grass surface to the balcony proved so effective and aesthetically pleasing, the client is now considering its use for several other areas of the site.
