CONTRACT OVERVIEW: Bird repellent system installation – wires and netting
SCOPE OF WORKS:
Firstly remove any live birds, chicks, eggs, nesting materials and droppings from affected areas (expansion joint walkway).
Residual spray the affected areas with phenolic germicidal spray.
Drill a series of holes at even centres and install corner and intermediate fixings.
Attach the perimeter wire rope to the fixings using crimped ferrules incorporating barrel strainers to tension the wire rope.
Attach the net to the wire rope using hog rings and ensuring the net is square to the structure and taut.
The area in front of the walkway to be proofed using galvanised mesh sheeting and 50mm netting.
