Health & Safety

Health and Safety and Quality Assurance are paramount to the operation of the company. All Quadriga staff use operational systems that are dedicated to continuous improvement in all areas of the business. All employees receive regular training in health and safety and are subjected to rigorous employment criteria, which is supported by a planned training programme. Our commitment has been recognised in the following ways.

ISO 9001

In November 1997 Quadriga achieved accreditation to ISO9002 this has now been superseded by ISO 9001: 2000. This confirms our commitment to quality assurance and thus improving the service we offer to clients.

OHSAS 18001

This is the latest certification specification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. It is based on already published criteria BS8800 and the Management Regulations 1992.

Organisations registered to OHSAS 18001 can be more confident about meeting the requirements of H&S legislation. The setting of targets through the Health and Safety policy, together with the ongoing measurement against it ensures a process of continual improvement.

Constructionline

This is an assurance of quality and certifies that Quadriga has reached the required technical, managerial and financial standards laid down by the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR).

Chas Accredited

Employers must also prove they have sound understanding of health and safety legislation as it applies to their business. CHAS enables employers to prove their commitment and management of health and safety. While not a legal duty it provides evidence of our commitment and understanding of basic health and safety.

British Parking Association

The BPA works for the general advancement of standards of design, construction, planning management and location of all types of car parking facility and to promote research and other scientific or technological work in connection with parking for vehicles.
