CONTRACT OVERVIEW: Stone replacement, structural pinning and restoration
Many stone blocks replaced due to localised ground movement which were stabilised with concealed structural pinning. Replaced and shaped over 270 stone blocks with new matching Tottenhoe Clunch, sourced from the same quarry as the original material. New feature stones were hand carved from Cadeby Limestone. Installed stainless steel CemTies, which were grouted into the stonework to secure the buttress where cracking had occurred.
