The vast majority of Universities and Schools around the Country are in need of some form of repair or restoration.  In recent years there has been an awakening in the need for conservation of our Heritage, and in England many of our oldest schools and universities are lucky enough to have some historic structures within their grounds.  There is of course the requirement for a special approach by design, construction and maintenance teams in order to minimise disturbance to the original structure during refurbishment especially during term times.  However Quadriga are well rehearsed in scheduling University & Colleges restoration to be done out of hours, within school holidays and making sure the work is done on time.

Anyone with a responsibility for a university, school or college building and it's facades should be aware of the maintenance procedures required to prevent deterioration. These might include re-pointing of defective joints, removal of organic growths, prevention of frost damage, renewal of mastic pointing, bird repellent systems or anti-carbonation coatings.

Quadriga specializes in the systems used to upgrade and maintain University & College building facades, regularly using pinning, injection and insitu mortar repairs to restore damaged building components. Repair techiniques used by Quadriga also have the added advantage of minimizing further deterioration in both aesthetic and structural elements of concrete, brick, stone and timber structures.
