Woodnorton Hotel, Evesham
Client: Eagle Rock Investments
Contract: Masonry Restoration | Status: Principal Contractor | Value: £20,000
The Woodnorton Hotel is a Grade II* listed building in Evesham Worcestershire. Built in 1897, the former Victorian stately home showcases architecture in the Jacobethan style. During World War II, the hall was used by the BBC as a station from which to listen to enemy radio broadcasts due to its location hidden amongst acres of remote woodland. It is now a luxury hotel with formal gardens and extensive grounds and has managed to retain many of its heritage features. The hotel remained occupied throughout the works.
