The new Dick Kerr Ladies Football Memorial was unveiled at Preston North End Football Club on 22nd December 2017, celebrating 100 years since the most successful women’s team of all time was established. Christmas Day 2017 marked 100 years since the team played in front of 10,000 spectators at Preston North End before going on to become world champions with an unbeaten run of 320 games.

Quadriga were enlisted to install the 6 x 4.1 metre memorial which consisted of 60 pieces of granite with imprinted artwork weighing 2.5 tonnes.

The memorial was installed by our specialist stonemasons over 3 weeks and each piece of granite was lifted onto the reinforced wall using an industrial stone vac.
